The math

At 3,200 forms, every per-form vendor costs more than your rent.

A typical 5-client tax practice files around 3,200 returns per season. Per-form vendors charge $0.68–$0.80 per return — that works out to $2,176–$2,560 per filing window.

The Agency tier at $299/mo runs $897 for the three months you actually file (Jan–Mar). Same volume, two-thirds off, no per-form anxiety.

FAQ

Common questions before you subscribe.

What does the 14-day trial cover?
All paid features. You can convert FIRE / CSV / Excel files, generate IRIS XML, and file through the IRS A2A API once A2A submission goes live. Card collected at signup; first charge after the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial for no charge.
Can I switch tiers later?
Yes — Stripe Billing handles the proration. Upgrade and the difference is charged immediately; downgrade and the credit applies to the next cycle.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access through the end of the current billing period. IRS-required submission records remain accessible to you for re-download for at least 4 years (the IRS recordkeeping window), after which they’re purged.
Is the IRS A2A submission live yet?
Not yet. Our IRIS Transmitter Control Code was approved in April 2026; the A2A integration is in development against the IRS test system and goes live for the 2027 filing season. Until then, IRISfile produces filing-ready IRIS XML, plus IRIS Portal CSV for 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC you can upload to the Portal yourself — the IRS caps Portal submissions at 100 returns per filer, so practices above that volume need A2A, which is exactly what IRISfile is built to handle.
What 1099 form types are supported?
1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-R, 1099-B, and 1099-S — the seven highest-volume Pub 1220 form types. More types come post-launch as demand surfaces.
